The seminar is devoted to discussing some recent work in Philosophical Logic. Topics include modal logic (broadly conceived), constructive logic, paraconsistent logic, and connexive logic. Prerequisites: Some previous knowledge of classical logic and the readiness to present a journal article or survey chapter in the seminar. CP can be earned by writing a short essay based on a presentation in the seminar. Background literature: Graham Priest, An Introduction to Non-Classical Logic. From If to Is, CUP, 2012, and appropriate entries in the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy or the Handbook of Philosophical Logic.
